About this program
The City of Brantford Downtown Facade Improvement Grant supports exterior improvements to eligible commercial and mixed-use buildings in downtown Brantford. The program helps property owners and business tenants improve storefronts, signage, lighting, accessibility, and other visible facade elements that enhance the downtown streetscape.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners or authorized tenants of eligible commercial or mixed-use properties in Brantford's downtown Community Improvement Plan area.
Requirements
- Property must be located in an eligible downtown Brantford Community Improvement Plan area.
- Applicant must apply before beginning eligible facade improvement work.
- Project must include eligible exterior building, storefront, signage, lighting, or accessibility improvements.
