The Transit Construction Mitigation Fund supports Toronto BIAs, business associations, and nonprofits with community-driven marketing, placemaking, business engagement, and activation projects that help local businesses affected by sustained transit construction.
Eligibility
Toronto BIAs and not-for-profit organizations with strong local business involvement in areas affected by major transit construction projects.
Requirements
- Apply during open intake before project costs are incurred
- Demonstrate transit construction impact, local business involvement, budget, work plan, and reporting capacity
