Federal program providing non-repayable contributions up to $1 million for SMEs developing innovative technologies, with advisory support from Industrial Technology Advisors.
About this program
The National Research Council's Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) supports innovation by Canadian SMEs through non-repayable funding for technology development projects and access to a national network of Industrial Technology Advisors (ITAs). IRAP also runs the Youth Employment Program for hiring recent graduates.
