Baffin Business Development Corporation provides business loans for eligible entrepreneurs and small businesses in Iqaluit and the Qikiqtani region.
About this program
Baffin Business Development Corporation is a community-based lender serving the Qikiqtani region, including Iqaluit. It provides repayable business financing to help entrepreneurs and small businesses start, expand, modernize, or stabilize viable enterprises. Financing is reviewed locally and can support business assets, equipment, working capital, leasehold improvements, and other approved business needs.
Eligibility
Entrepreneurs and small businesses in Iqaluit and the Qikiqtani region may apply for eligible startup, expansion, acquisition, equipment, working capital, or modernization financing.
Requirements
- Business must be located in Iqaluit or another community served by Baffin Business Development Corporation.
- Applicant must submit a business plan or project plan.
- Applicant must provide financial projections, project costs, ownership information, and documents requested by BBDC.
