CBDC Central PEI serves entrepreneurs and small businesses in central Prince Edward Island, including Summerside, with repayable financing and advisory support. General business loans can support startup, expansion, modernization, equipment, working capital, leasehold improvements, and business acquisition when conventional financing is unavailable or insufficient. Applications are assessed locally based on viability, owner contribution, community benefit, and repayment capacity.
Eligibility
Entrepreneurs and small businesses in the CBDC Central PEI service area, including Summerside, may apply for eligible startup, expansion, modernization, working capital, equipment, or acquisition financing.
Requirements
- Business must be located in the CBDC Central PEI service area.
- Applicant must submit a business plan or project plan.
- Applicant must provide financial projections, project costs, ownership details, and due diligence documents requested by CBDC.
