About this program
The Oshawa Urban Growth Centre Community Improvement Plan includes a Facade and Accessibility Improvement Grant for eligible properties in the downtown Urban Growth Centre. The program supports visible exterior improvements and accessibility upgrades that improve the character, safety, and usability of commercial and mixed-use buildings.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are owners or authorized tenants of eligible properties in Oshawa's Urban Growth Centre Community Improvement Project Area completing approved facade or accessibility improvements.
Requirements
- Property must be located in the Urban Growth Centre Community Improvement Project Area.
- Applicant must submit a complete application before beginning eligible work.
- Project must include eligible facade, storefront, signage, lighting, or accessibility improvements.
