About this program
The Small Business Investment Grant administered by Innovation PEI helps small and medium businesses within PEI improve efficiencies and innovation. Eligible capital costs partially covered include equipment, building construction, technology upgrades, and energy efficiency upgrades. Funding takes the form of a non-repayable financial contribution toward acquisition of eligible capital assets, covering 15% of actual eligible costs with a maximum grant of $3,750 per fiscal year (April 1 - March 31). Only one application is accepted per fiscal year. Operates first-come, first-served.
Eligibility
For-profit small businesses located in and actively operating in PEI with at least one employee or business as primary income source. Excludes fishing, farming, real estate, financial services, and not-for-profit organizations.
