About this program
The City of Surrey Policing Grants program helps nonprofit event organizers cover public safety costs for eligible events on city lands or streets. The grant offers up to a 50 percent discount on invoices related to policing costs, up to a maximum of $55,000. Events must be free, open to the public, conditionally approved through the Festival and Event Support Team process, and the application must be submitted no later than 60 days after the event.
Eligibility
Nonprofit organizations established for more than one year may apply for eligible free public events on City of Surrey lands or streets with policing cost invoices.
Requirements

- Event must take place on City lands or streets and be open and free to the general public.
- Event application must be conditionally approved through the Festival and Event Support Team review.
