City of Toronto Mural and Street Art Program

Grants and project support for Toronto murals and street art that reduce graffiti vandalism and animate public-facing spaces.

About this program

The City of Toronto Mural and Street Art Program supports mural and street art projects that beautify neighbourhoods, reduce graffiti vandalism, and create opportunities for artists and community partners. Funding and project support can help business improvement areas, community organizations, property owners, and artists deliver public-facing art on walls, laneways, and other visible surfaces. Projects must follow City requirements for site permissions, artist engagement, and eligible costs.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include business improvement areas, community organizations, artists, and property partners proposing public-facing mural or street art projects in Toronto.

Requirements

  • Project must be located in Toronto and be publicly visible.
  • Applicant must secure property owner permission for the mural site.
  • Project must involve eligible mural or street art activity.
