About this program
The City of Peterborough Affordable Housing Community Improvement Plan provides incentives to support the creation of affordable housing. The development charge grant stream helps eligible affordable rental or ownership housing projects offset municipal development charges, improving project feasibility for nonprofit and private housing proponents.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners, developers, nonprofit housing providers, or other approved proponents creating qualifying affordable housing units in Peterborough.
Requirements
- Project must be located in Peterborough.
- Project must create eligible affordable housing units.
- Applicant must apply through the Affordable Housing Community Improvement Plan process.
