About this program
The Downtown Windsor Enhancement Strategy and Community Improvement Plan includes a Facade Improvement Grant for eligible exterior improvements to commercial and mixed-use buildings in the downtown project area. The program supports visible upgrades such as storefront improvements, exterior restoration, lighting, signage, and accessibility-related facade work that improves the downtown streetscape.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are owners or authorized tenants of eligible properties in the Downtown Windsor Community Improvement Plan project area undertaking approved facade improvements.
Requirements
- Property must be located in the Downtown Windsor Community Improvement Plan project area.
- Applicant must apply before beginning eligible facade work.
- Project must include eligible exterior building or storefront improvements.
