About this program
The Alberta Innovates Micro Voucher Program provides up to $10,000 in non-dilutive funding (covering up to 75% of eligible costs) to help Alberta-based tech SMEs design and develop innovative technology solutions. Eligible activities include design, engineering, prototype development, product testing, patent development (excluding maintenance fees), advanced market assessment, certifications, and other technology development. Continuous intake year-round. Applicants must contribute 25% cash. Project term is 6 months. Funding is reimbursement-based after final report approval.
Eligibility
Alberta-based small or medium enterprise with fewer than 500 full-time employees and annual gross revenue under $50 million; novel technology with IP opportunity; technology readiness level 3-7; ability to contribute 25% cash; functional requirements defined.
