About this program
The Downtown Office Demolition Incentive Program supports demolition of obsolete downtown office buildings where removal can reduce vacancy, enable redevelopment, and advance Calgary's downtown revitalization goals.
Eligibility
Eligible owners of qualifying downtown Calgary office buildings with approved demolition and redevelopment plans.
Requirements
- Apply and receive City approval before demolition
- Provide building information, demolition budget, redevelopment rationale, permits, and reporting
