About this program
The City of Iqaluit Recreation Department supports community recreation, sport, cultural, and event programming that improves local quality of life. Eligible community groups and event organizers may seek municipal support, facility access, or contribution assistance for activities that benefit Iqaluit residents and align with recreation and community programming priorities.
Eligibility
Eligible community groups, recreation organizations, sport organizations, cultural groups, and event organizers serving Iqaluit residents may apply or request support.
Requirements
- Activity or event must take place in Iqaluit or directly benefit Iqaluit residents.
- Applicant must be an eligible community group, organization, or event organizer.
- Applicant must provide project or event details, budget, date, location, and expected community benefit.
