The City of Thunder Bay Core Area Community Improvement Plan Tax Increment Grant supports larger redevelopment, rehabilitation, and intensification projects by returning a portion of the municipal tax increase generated by approved improvements. Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners or developers with qualifying redevelopment or rehabilitation projects in Thunder Bay core-area Community Improvement Plan project areas.
Requirements

- Project must involve eligible redevelopment, rehabilitation, or intensification work.
- Project must increase municipal property assessment.
