About this program
The City of Regina Sport and Recreation New Initiative Grant funds one-time or first-time programs, organizational development, capital initiatives, or projects delivered by eligible non-profit organizations. The program supports increased access to sport and recreation, active and healthy lifestyles for children and youth, initiatives for equity-deserving communities, multi-season use of open space, and activities aligned with Truth and Reconciliation. Minor funding is up to $10,000 and major funding is over $10,000 up to $30,000.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations delivering new or one-time sport and recreation initiatives that benefit Regina residents.
Requirements
- Applicant must be an eligible non-profit organization.
- Initiative must be one-time, first-time, organizational development, capital, or new project activity.
- Project must benefit Regina residents.
