Baffin Business Development Corporation can support eligible businesses in Iqaluit and the Qikiqtani region with loan guarantees that help unlock financing from other lenders. The guarantee structure is intended to reduce lender risk and support viable business projects that need additional backing to proceed.
Eligibility
Eligible small businesses and entrepreneurs in Iqaluit and the Qikiqtani region may seek a loan guarantee for approved business financing needs.
Requirements
- Business must be located in Iqaluit or another BBDC service-area community.
- Applicant must have an eligible business project requiring lender financing.
- Applicant must submit project, financial, and lender information requested by BBDC.
