About this program
The City of Cambridge Commercial Building Restoration, Renovation and Improvement Grant supports substantial improvements to eligible commercial and mixed-use buildings. The program is intended to help revitalize Cambridge's core areas by offsetting eligible costs for building restoration, renovation, code upgrades, accessibility improvements, and reuse of underutilized space.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are owners or authorized tenants of eligible properties in Cambridge Community Improvement Plan areas undertaking approved building restoration or renovation work.
Requirements
- Property must be located in an eligible Cambridge Community Improvement Plan area.
- Applicant must submit a complete application before starting eligible work.
- Project must include eligible building restoration, renovation, improvement, or code-related costs.
