About this program
Halifax Climate Investment, Innovation and Impact, also known as HCI3, provides Catalyst Grants to help local organizations plan, test, and develop climate mitigation initiatives in Halifax and surrounding communities. The grants support early-stage work such as feasibility, engagement, planning, piloting, and project design that can lead to deeper greenhouse gas reductions or climate solutions. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis while funding is available.
Eligibility
Eligible organizations, nonprofits, social enterprises, and community partners working on climate mitigation projects in the Halifax region may apply for Catalyst Grants.
Requirements
- Project must be located in or benefit the Halifax region.
- Project must focus on climate mitigation, greenhouse gas reductions, or local climate solutions.
- Applicant must submit the HCI3 Catalyst Grant application.
