Hamilton Community Foundation ABACUS Grants
Education grants for Hamilton charities and non-profits helping systemically underserved students graduate high school and access post-secondary education.
About this program
ABACUS is Hamilton Community Foundation's long-term education granting initiative focused on increasing the likelihood that students experiencing barriers graduate high school and access post-secondary education. Beginning in 2026, ABACUS moves into a closed multi-year funding round that prioritizes programs meeting new requirements around equity, wellness, and academic achievement. Grants can support programs serving Grades 4 and 5 up to $25,000 for one year and programs serving middle-school to high-school students up to $65,000 per year for up to two years.
