Enabling Accessibility Fund
Up to $1 million to make a workplace or community space accessible to people with disabilities.
About this program
The Enabling Accessibility Fund pays for construction and renovation projects that make workplaces and community spaces accessible to people with disabilities β ramps, accessible washrooms, lifts, automatic doors and similar work. Projects can run up to 24 months and receive up to $1,000,000. For-profit organizations are eligible alongside not-for-profits, Indigenous organizations and municipal and territorial governments, which makes it one of the few federal accessibility programs a business can apply to directly. The 2026 call for proposals closed on March 16, 2026; Employment and Social Development Canada runs new calls periodically.
