About this program
The City of Cambridge Commercial Property Improvement Grant supports exterior improvements to eligible commercial and mixed-use properties in Cambridge's core areas. The program helps property owners and business tenants improve storefronts, facades, signage, lighting, accessibility, and other visible exterior features that strengthen main street vitality.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners or authorized tenants of eligible commercial or mixed-use properties in Cambridge's Community Improvement Plan areas.
Requirements
- Property must be located in an eligible Cambridge Community Improvement Plan area.
- Applicant must apply before beginning eligible improvement work.
- Project must include eligible exterior commercial property improvements.
