About this program
The New Brunswick Fisheries Fund supports strategic and innovative projects that benefit the fish, seafood, and aquaculture sectors. Projects that improve competitiveness, innovation, and resilience of the seafood and aquaculture sectors are considered. The fund addresses gaps in existing programs and has flexibility to respond to sector needs and emerging priorities. Eligible objectives include market access and product diversification, innovation, productivity, and technology adoption. The fund complements the federal-provincial Atlantic Fisheries Fund.
Eligibility
Commercial fisheries and aquaculture industry participants in New Brunswick, including processors, harvesters, Indigenous groups, industry associations, and research institutions. Projects must align with one of the fund's strategic objectives and demonstrate benefit to the NB seafood/aquaculture sector.
