About this program
The Downtown Development Incentive Program supports downtown Calgary office conversions and adaptive reuse projects that remove vacant office space and create residential, hotel, post-secondary, cultural, or other active uses in the downtown core.
Eligibility
Eligible owners or developers of qualifying downtown Calgary office buildings with approved conversion or adaptive reuse projects.
Requirements
- Apply before construction begins
- Submit building details, conversion plan, budget, financing, permits, and agreement with the City
