Kakivak Association provides grants for Inuit entrepreneurs and Inuit-owned businesses in Iqaluit and the Qikiqtani region.
About this program
Kakivak Association's Entrepreneur and Business Development program supports Inuit entrepreneurs and Inuit-owned businesses in the Qikiqtani region, including Iqaluit. The program can provide non-repayable contributions for eligible startup, expansion, training, equipment, marketing, and business development activities, subject to Inuit eligibility, project review, and available program funds.
Eligibility
Inuit entrepreneurs and Inuit-owned businesses in Iqaluit and the Qikiqtani region may apply for eligible business startup, growth, training, or development projects.
Requirements
- Applicant must meet Kakivak Inuit eligibility requirements.
- Business or project must be located in Iqaluit or another Qikiqtani region community.
- Applicant must submit the Entrepreneur and Business Development application and project plan.
