About this program
The City of Hamilton Commercial District Revitalization Grant Program supports exterior improvements to commercial properties located in eligible Business Improvement Areas and commercial districts. The program is intended to improve the appearance, visibility, and long-term success of Hamilton commercial districts by helping property owners and businesses invest in facade, signage, window, door, lighting, masonry, accessibility, and related improvements. Recent City reporting shows individual grants up to $25,000 for eligible commercial district work.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners and businesses undertaking eligible exterior commercial improvements in Hamilton's eligible BIAs or commercial districts.
Requirements
- Property must be located in an eligible Hamilton BIA or commercial district.
- Project must involve eligible exterior building or facade improvements.
- Applicant must receive City approval before beginning funded work.
