The Yukon Community Development Fund provides funding for projects, events, and initiatives that provide long-term sustainable economic and social benefits to Yukon communities. Eligible projects may include community infrastructure, construction, renovations, community gardens, recreational facilities, events, planning, and other community development activities. Eligible applicants include Yukon-based nonprofits, municipal governments, First Nations governments, local governing bodies, and First Nation development corporations engaging in community-level initiatives.
Eligibility
Yukon-based nonprofits, municipal governments, First Nations governments, local governing bodies, and First Nation development corporations may apply for eligible community development projects.
Requirements
- Applicant must be an eligible Yukon nonprofit, municipal government, First Nation government, local governing body, or First Nation development corporation.
- Project must provide long-term sustainable economic or social benefits to a Yukon community.
- Private businesses and individuals are generally not eligible applicants.
