About this program
Kingston Economic Development administers Starter Company Plus for eligible entrepreneurs starting, expanding, or buying a small business in Kingston and area. The program combines business training, mentorship, planning support, and the opportunity for selected participants to receive grant funding for approved startup or growth costs.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Ontario residents 18 or older who are starting, expanding, or buying a small business in Kingston and meet local Starter Company Plus requirements.
Requirements
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
- Applicant must be an Ontario resident and eligible to work in Canada.
- Business must be located in Kingston or the local service area.
