About this program
The Town of Ajax Downtown Community Improvement Plan includes a Facade Improvement Grant to support exterior improvements to eligible commercial and mixed-use properties. The program helps property owners and business tenants improve storefronts, signage, lighting, accessibility, and visible building features that strengthen the downtown streetscape.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are property owners or authorized tenants of eligible commercial or mixed-use properties in the Downtown Ajax Community Improvement Plan area.
Requirements
- Property must be located in the Downtown Ajax Community Improvement Plan area.
- Applicant must apply before starting eligible facade improvement work.
- Project must include eligible exterior building, storefront, signage, or accessibility improvements.
