Yellowknife provides grants for car-share, e-bike-share, and bike-share installations in eligible development zones.
About this program
The City of Yellowknife's Shared Vehicle Grant supports developments in the Downtown, Residential Central, and Residential Intensification zones that install vehicle-sharing options. Eligible projects may receive $5,000 per car share up to $20,000, $1,000 per e-bike share up to $5,000, or $200 per bike share up to $3,000. Entirely commercial developments may qualify for one shared vehicle option.
Eligibility
Eligible developments in Yellowknife's Downtown, Residential Central, and Residential Intensification zones may apply for shared vehicle infrastructure support.
Requirements
- Development must be located in an eligible Yellowknife zone.
- Project must install an eligible car-share, e-bike-share, or bike-share option.
- Applicant must apply through the City's development incentives process.
