MBO provides newcomer entrepreneur loans of up to $10,000 for eligible immigrants starting or growing businesses in the St. John's region.
About this program
Metro Business Opportunities' newcomer entrepreneur financing helps immigrants and newcomers in the St. John's metro region access business startup or growth capital. The program provides smaller repayable financing and local business support to help newcomer entrepreneurs move viable business ideas forward.
Eligibility
Newcomer and immigrant entrepreneurs in MBO's service area, including St. John's, may apply for eligible startup or business development financing.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a newcomer or immigrant entrepreneur.
- Business or project must be located in Metro Business Opportunities' service area.
- Applicant must submit a business or project plan.
