About this program
The Oshawa Urban Growth Centre Building and Fire Code Improvement Grant helps owners improve older buildings by offsetting eligible code-related upgrades. The incentive is intended to support reuse, occupancy, safety, and revitalization of properties within the Urban Growth Centre Community Improvement Project Area.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are owners or authorized tenants of eligible Urban Growth Centre properties completing approved building code, fire code, or electrical safety improvements.
Requirements
- Property must be in Oshawa's Urban Growth Centre Community Improvement Project Area.
- Applicant must apply before starting eligible work.
- Project must involve eligible building code, fire code, or electrical safety upgrades.
