About this program
The Book Publishing Tax Credit helps Manitoba book publishers offset eligible Manitoba labour costs and author advances for qualifying Canadian-authored books, with an annual maximum credit.
Eligibility
Book publishers with a Manitoba permanent establishment or residency that meet publishing, payroll, and qualifying book requirements.
Requirements
- Publish at least two eligible books within the required period
- Claim credit with required tax schedule and documentation
