About this program
The City of Toronto Main Street Innovation Fund supports creative projects that strengthen local main streets, business improvement areas, and neighbourhood commercial districts. Eligible projects can test new approaches to business support, placemaking, visitor attraction, digital adoption, animation, and local economic development. Applicants must demonstrate benefit to Toronto main street businesses and provide a feasible project plan and budget.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include Toronto business improvement areas, business associations, non-profits, and local partners proposing projects that support main street businesses.
Requirements
- Project must support Toronto main street businesses or commercial districts.
- Applicant must be an eligible BIA, business association, non-profit, or local partner.
- Project must be innovative, feasible, and locally beneficial.
