About this program
The Energy Retrofit Loan program provides fixed, long-term, low-interest financing for Toronto building owners to complete low-carbon energy retrofits such as heat pumps, HVAC, envelope upgrades, lighting, controls, renewable energy, fuel switching, and storage.
Eligibility
Owners of eligible buildings located in Toronto, including commercial, retail, industrial, multifamily, condo common areas, nonprofit, institutional, hospitality, and social housing buildings.
Requirements
- Enroll through Better Buildings Navigation support
- Submit feasibility study, retrofit plan, project costs, building information, and loan application
