The Yukon Regional Economic Development Fund provides support for economic planning, opportunity identification, and capacity development at the regional and community level. The fund helps Yukon communities, businesses, and business-related organizations develop regional economic opportunities and build the capacity needed for long-term economic development. Government of Yukon funding sources are generally limited to a maximum share of total project costs.
Eligibility
Yukon businesses registered with Corporate Affairs, business-related organizations, and community or regional economic development partners may apply for eligible regional economic planning and capacity projects.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a Yukon business registered with Corporate Affairs or an eligible business-related or regional economic development organization.
- Project must support economic planning, opportunity identification, or capacity development at the regional or community level.
- Applicant must provide project scope, budget, timeline, partners, and expected economic benefits.
