About this program
The Equity and Inclusion in the Arts Fund reduces barriers and advances artistic expression within Indigenous and equity-seeking communities in Ottawa. The program includes Seed, Grow, and Sustain streams that support artistic growth, engagement, leadership, organizational capacity, and ongoing operations. The 2026 Seed Award deadline is May 6, 2026 at 4 p.m., while 2026 Grow and Sustain operations deadlines were October 22, 2025.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Ottawa-based Indigenous and equity-seeking artists, collectives, and arts organizations that meet the stream-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Applicant must be Indigenous or from an equity-seeking community, or have an arts mandate focused on Indigenous or equity-seeking communities where required.
- Applicant must meet Ottawa residency or location requirements.
- Project or operations must advance artistic expression, engagement, leadership, or organizational capacity.
