About this program
The City of Greater Sudbury Strategic Core Areas Building Improvement Grant supports rehabilitation and reuse of eligible commercial and mixed-use buildings. Eligible projects can include building code, fire code, accessibility, and interior or exterior improvements that help activate vacant or underused spaces in core areas.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are owners or authorized tenants of eligible properties in Greater Sudbury strategic core areas undertaking approved building improvement work.
Requirements
- Property must be located in an eligible Strategic Core Areas Community Improvement Plan area.
- Applicant must submit a complete application before beginning eligible work.
- Project must include eligible building rehabilitation, code, accessibility, or reuse costs.
