About this program
The Public Charger Program provides rebates for public light-duty EV charging and hydrogen fuelling infrastructure, prioritizing geographic gaps, Indigenous communities, rural and northern areas, and urban MURB-dense communities.
Eligibility
BC businesses, nonprofits, local governments, Indigenous communities, utilities, and public sector organizations installing eligible public charging infrastructure.
Requirements
- Preapproval required before project purchase or installation
- Project must meet eligible charger type, location, and public access requirements
