CBDC Blue Water offers youth entrepreneur loans of up to $20,000 for applicants ages 18 to 34 in eligible rural Halifax communities.
About this program
The CBDC Youth Loan helps entrepreneurs ages 18 to 34 start, expand, or modernize a business in communities served by CBDC Blue Water. The program combines repayable financing with local business counselling and is intended for young entrepreneurs who have a viable business plan and need access to startup or growth capital.
Eligibility
Entrepreneurs ages 18 to 34 in the CBDC Blue Water service area, including eligible rural Halifax communities, may apply for startup, expansion, or modernization financing.
Requirements
- Applicant must be between 18 and 34 years old.
- Business must be located in CBDC Blue Water's service area.
- Applicant must provide a viable business plan or project plan.
