Starter Company Plus through Markham Small Business Centre helps eligible entrepreneurs start, expand, or purchase a small business in Markham. The program provides business training, mentoring, advisory support, and the opportunity to apply for a grant of up to $5,000 after completing required milestones. Participants must meet Ontario program eligibility rules and local program requirements.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are entrepreneurs who meet Starter Company Plus requirements and are starting, buying, or expanding a small business in Markham.
Requirements
- Applicant must meet Ontario Starter Company Plus eligibility requirements.
- Business must be located or proposed to be located in Markham.
- Applicant must participate in required business training and mentorship.
