Cape Breton-area CBDCs provide financing for first-time entrepreneurs launching or buying their first business.
About this program
CBDC's First-Time Entrepreneur Loan supports new business owners who need flexible repayable financing to launch or buy a first business. Cape Breton applicants can access financing and advisory support through their local CBDC when the project is viable and located in an eligible service area.
Eligibility
First-time entrepreneurs in eligible Cape Breton CBDC service areas may apply for business startup or acquisition financing.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a first-time entrepreneur.
- Business must be located in an eligible Cape Breton CBDC service area.
- Applicant must submit a business plan and financing request.
