Canada-New Brunswick Job Grant (CNBJG)
Up to $10,000 per trainee (66% of training costs) for NB employer-driven workforce training.
About this program
The Canada-New Brunswick Job Grant is a cost-shared training program that helps employers fund short-term, third-party training tied to business needs. Employers determine what training is needed, who participates, and which provider will deliver it. The program offers non-repayable grant contributions of two-thirds (66%) of eligible training costs (course, exams, textbooks, software resources, etc.) up to a maximum of $10,000 per training participant per fiscal year. The employer pays a minimum of one-third of the eligible training costs.
Eligibility
New Brunswick-based SME employers with $2M liability insurance. Eligible trainees must be New Brunswick residents, permanent Canadian citizens, or granted refugee status. Most training programs from approved third-party providers qualify; internal training led by company managers is not supported.
