About this program
The City of Saint John's Municipal Grants Program supports local organizations, businesses, and property owners through several grant streams: Community Grant (organizational support, community projects, special events), Beautification Grant (facade and landscaping improvements for properties outside the Heritage District), Heritage Conservation Grant (for properties in Saint John Heritage Conservation Areas), Land for Public Purpose Grant (community group projects developing public spaces), and Central Peninsula development incentives. Applications open in December each year following Saint John Common Council approval.

Varies by stream. Includes community organizations, property owners, businesses, and individuals within the City of Saint John. The Beautification Grant targets properties outside the Heritage District in specified neighbourhoods. Heritage Conservation Grants require a Conservation Plan in place.
