About this program
FedNor delivers the federal Business Scale-up and Productivity (BSP) stream for Northern Ontario, providing interest-free repayable contributions to support firms scaling up, expanding into new markets, adopting innovative technologies, and commercializing products. The program targets innovative and trade-oriented businesses. Indigenous (First Nation, Métis, Inuit) businesses are explicitly eligible. Retail and service-based businesses are not eligible.
Eligibility
Incorporated SMEs based in Northern Ontario (north of the French River), Indigenous businesses and organizations, and cooperatives. Innovative and trade-oriented businesses; retail/service businesses are not eligible.

- Submit application via FedNor portal
- Provide business case, financial projections, project budget, and growth plan
