About this program
Baffin Business Development Corporation is the Community Futures organization for the Qikiqtaaluk region of Nunavut and operates an investment fund to help build and develop small businesses in local communities. The fund can provide loans, loan guarantees, or equity investments to eligible businesses up to $250,000 per business. BBDC also offers business counselling and development support to entrepreneurs and small businesses across the region.
Eligibility
Eligible entrepreneurs and businesses in the Qikiqtaaluk region of Nunavut may apply for financing and business support through Baffin Business Development Corporation.
Requirements
- Business must be located in or serve the Qikiqtaaluk region of Nunavut.
- Applicant must be an eligible business or entrepreneur under BBDC investment fund requirements.
- Financing may be structured as a loan, loan guarantee, or equity investment up to $250,000 per business.
