About this program
The Downtown Windsor Building Improvement Grant helps property owners and tenants complete eligible improvements to commercial and mixed-use buildings in the downtown Community Improvement Plan area. Eligible work can include building rehabilitation, code-related upgrades, accessibility improvements, and other improvements that help activate or improve downtown space.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are owners or authorized tenants of eligible downtown Windsor properties completing approved building improvement work.
Requirements
- Property must be located in the Downtown Windsor Community Improvement Plan project area.
- Applicant must submit an application before starting eligible work.
- Project must include eligible building improvement or rehabilitation costs.
