About this program
The City of London Additional Residential Unit New Home Program encourages new housing projects to include additional residential units. Through the Community Improvement Plan incentive framework, the program helps eligible owners or builders offset municipal costs for approved new construction that adds secondary or accessory residential units.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are owners or builders developing approved new homes with additional residential units in eligible London Community Improvement Plan areas.
Requirements
- Project must be in an eligible Community Improvement Plan area.
- New construction must include an eligible additional residential unit.
- Applicant must apply before undertaking eligible work or incurring eligible costs.
