About this program
The Canada-Ontario Job Grant provides direct financial support to Ontario employers wanting to deliver short-term training to existing or new employees. The grant covers two-thirds of eligible training costs (up to $10,000 per trainee, or $15,000 per trainee for small employers and small training providers), with the employer contributing the remaining one-third. Eligible training must be delivered by a third-party trainer leading to recognized credentials. The program also has dedicated streams for skills training during economic disruption.
Eligibility
Ontario employers of all sizes that are licensed to operate in Ontario and have a job and training plan for current or new employees. Trainees must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons.
Requirements
