About this program
The Tourism Innovation Fund assists in the research, development, and market launch of new cultural tourism products in PEI. The fund supports non-profit tourism businesses looking to create new cultural tourism products, upgrade existing offerings, or make upgrades to enable extending the operating season. Applications are evaluated on alignment with PEI's primary market tourism products, potential to attract significant off-Island visitation, length-of-stay extension (especially in non-peak periods), research-supported return on investment, and incremental growth potential with event-based revenue streams outside of government support.
Eligibility
Non-profit tourism businesses and associations creating new cultural tourism products, upgrading existing offerings, or extending operating seasons in PEI.
